Among the 45 wines selected, our emblematic Brouilly Lieu-dit “La Chaize” Monopole 2022 stood out with the following comment from the jury: “Forget the light and easy Brouilly. A few days later, on March 22, Le Monde published a second feature, “La Chaize: 150 Hectares in the Colours of Gamay”, this time highlighting the vision of the estate’s owner Christophe Gruy, who has transformed Château de La Chaize into a model of viticultural renaissance.

The newspaper praises “an endeavour that has elevated the Gamay grape to a gastronomic status,” confirming the estate’s place among the great wines of southern Burgundy and the Beaujolais region.
