Everything You Need to Know About Our 2025 Vintage Everything You Need to Know About Our 2025 Vintage
The 2025 vintage continues the succession of fine vintages in Beaujolais. Shaped by generally favourable climatic conditions and the constant attention of our teams, this harvest promises harmonious, generous wines that remain true to the identity of our terroirs.
Throughout the growing season, the vines benefited from a regular distribution of rainfall. This balanced water supply encouraged even vegetative growth and optimal grape development. The rains that arrived in the lead-up to harvest provided an additional advantage, allowing the berries to retain remarkable freshness, produce juice of outstanding quality, and mitigate the effects of water stress observed during the hottest periods of summer.
Temperatures, overall slightly above seasonal norms, supported excellent grape ripening. The return of cooler conditions during harvest then created ideal circumstances for picking and for the initial stages of vinification. This thermal variation helped preserve the full aromatic richness of the grapes while promoting a well-controlled maceration, favourable to the expression of fruit and the balance of the wines.
The sanitary quality of the grapes remained outstanding throughout the season. This result reflects the constant vigilance of our vineyard teams, their responsiveness to weather conditions, the mastery of our equipment, and an in-depth understanding of each of our parcels. This daily commitment enabled us to harvest healthy grapes that fully express the potential of every terroir.
Harvest began at the end of August, and this year our white grape parcels led the way on Friday, 29 August 2025, followed shortly afterwards by the Gamay parcels destined for our Blanc de Noir, a major new addition for this vintage. The remainder of our single-parcel sites were harvested through to mid-September. Initial observations from the harvest revealed well-balanced juices, providing raw material of exceptional quality. The grapes displayed an excellent balance between sugars and acidity, heralding wines that are both generous and fresh, with excellent ageing potential.
In the cellar, every stage of vinification was carried out with the same exacting standards. Careful monitoring of parcel maturity ahead of harvest allowed us to determine the optimal picking date for each terroir and each lieu-dit. Regular analyses, combined with daily tastings, guided technical decisions throughout vinification. Each cuvée therefore benefited from a tailor-made approach, with methods adapted to the desired profile in order to reveal its identity to its fullest expression.
The 2025 vintage thus reflects the successful alliance between a generous nature and the expertise of our teams. The first wines already reveal vibrant fruit, beautiful balance and great finesse. They suggest captivating cuvées that will be approachable in their youth while offering excellent ageing potential for the most ambitious wines.
We are delighted to share this vintage, which authentically conveys the expression of our terroirs and the daily commitment of our teams.
